Getting MindVault

MindVault is in a public beta on iPhone. Install it through TestFlight: join the beta. The website opens to everyone soon.

The Chrome extension

Signing in

The extension uses your MindVault account from this website. Sign in at mindvaultrecall.com/login in the same browser, and the extension picks it up on its own. Signing out on the website signs the extension out too.

“iPhone beta only”

While MindVault is in beta, saving from Chrome is open to beta testers. Install the iPhone app, sign in there once with the same account, and saving from Chrome starts working.

The Vault button is missing

Reload the tab. Pages that were already open when the extension was installed or updated do not get the button until they reload. On YouTube it sits next to Like on a video’s page; on ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini it appears under each response.

A video will not save

MindVault reads a video’s captions, so a video with no captions has nothing to save. Try one that shows the CC button in the player.

Your account and data

Delete your account from the iPhone app under You → Account → Delete account. It is immediate and permanent. If you cannot reach the app, email us from your account’s address and we will do it for you. What we store and why is in the privacy policy.
